Dear all,

we have converted all existing repositories to Subversion, which is now
running happily enough on a new Dell Poweredge server, under Debian (I
am now a fan of this distribution after having set it up with no pain
whatsoever) at CHIME in London.

If you look at the openEHR home page (http://www.openehr.org) and follow
the "projects" menu option, each project now has a (fairly) up to date
description, subversion URLs and other details. To learn about
subversion, see the pages at
http://www.openehr.org/developer/t_svn_um_top.htm. These pages are not
finished by any stretch of the imagination, and any user who wants to
contribute is very welcome to do so. All project repositories are
read-only to the world and writable by the development team members.

The Change Management Plan has been updated as well, see
http://svn.openehr.org/specification/TRUNK/publishing/CM/CM_plan.pdf.

The project pages will be the central point of coordination of each
project. On each such page, the team is mentioned and there should be at
least one email address to contact for those interested in joining
developments. At the moment I have put myself as a contact email on some
of these projects, but this is simply until developments progress a bit
further and project teams and leaders emerge.

We are still converting parts of the website, list-serve membership and
issue trackers to their final form and location, but for now, there
should be sufficient infrastructure to progress with.

We encourage those interested in software development, development of
archetypes and terminologies and development and review of
specifications to take part.

Please provide as much feedback as possible in order for us to make the
infrastructure work as we would all like.
