Usage schemes come close to archetypes.
Both constrain or kind of constrain an underlying model.
Kitchen sink model in their case or a concise model of a dossier as  
is the case in openEHR.

With one big difference:
Archetypes are defined/expressed on the basis of an Archetype Model.
