Hi all,

it is sometimes good to deal with the basics again.

ISO 18308 defines the EHR as a virtual collection of patient related data.
It assumes the data are stored for an identifyable individual in more than
one technical system (virtual).

ISO 18308 also assumes that the data can be used accross the continuum of
healthcare, including continuity of care, management information, epidemiology
etc.

Sincerely yours,

dr. William TF Goossen
