Hi Liron,

If I remember correctly, the free version of linkEHR (LinkEHR Editor Lite) has a function to render mindmaps from Archetypes. Though, I don't know if you can get the created mm file.

Here is the link: http://www.linkehr.com/

Best,

Hi Liron,

I think the MindMap used in the CKM (http://ckm.openehr.org/) is a flash rendered of the FreeMind mindmap format .mm. I don't know of any publicly available tool to render the ADL to mm directly. You might need to do the transformation yourself from ADL to XML (mm) and use the flash rendered. AFAIK, modelling tools don't provide the visual mindmap.

User interface has nothing to do with archetypes, so you will not find any information about how to render information on a screen in the openEHR specs. I did a lot of work around openEHR and UIs, you might find these papers useful:

The openEHR information model allows to represent any kind of information, and you can chose the best way of displaying it, like a table, a chart, etc. For example, on our EHRServer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-hs-Ofb8SY) when you query for numeric data i JSON format, it will display a chart. I have a version in the cloud if you want to try it.

Consider that openEHR templates are not templates for UI, those doesn't tell you how to display the data, just tell you which data is part of a clinical document. For example, on the UI you might need to display data from many documents, so you might need to define your "UI Template" and apply it to the result of a query to the EHR.

About data, you will need to produce your own. If you have an archetype (ADL) or operational template (OPT) it is easy to create a process that goes through it and generates random data with the correct type (text, date, quantity, etc.).

Hope that helps!

Subject: openEHR archetypes and views - clarification
Date: Wed, 20 May 2015 13:20:24 +0000

Hello,

Question clarification:

1)Most of the system screen are about patient overview, meaning presentation of various data, rather than forms. Though I have identified the archetype to used, I am puzzled how can I built a template which is non-form (or in another words how can I view the template in non-form format ? )

2)In continuation which question 1, is there any way to run a template which will produce a demo data ?

3)Is there any way to have a mind map via one of the modeling tools ?(such as ADL ,AE ? )

Thanks in advance,

Liron.

Hello,

I am in the learning process of openEHR as part of my thesis work at Orebro university, Sweden, and I would like to ask quite simple questions which I came across but , couldn’t find any document which deal in the subject.

1) Is there any way to get a mind map view for the archetypes/ templates via one of the modeling tools ? (for ex the ADL)

2) My goal is to model a system via archetype. For ex: a screen which present a patient overview. The screen represent data and does not contain any form. I couldn’t find any document which explain how to deign/represent a non-form template (scree). Is there a way to do so?

Thanks in advance,

Liron
