That's not a bad idea. How about we check them into svn as you
suggest but not in trunk/openejb3 and use http:// url to get them
over webdav instead? Maybe some place like trunk/repo or something
like that.
Works for me. I forgot svn can be accessed via WebDAV and so do the
files in it.
NB, why don't you want to put them in trunk/openejb3? These would be
pulled down via webdav, but I could easily define a mirror in
settings.xml and point it to file:// instead (just to boost the
build). Don't see a point to put it elsewhere since they're required
for the build and without it the build won't let go. It's part of the
sources, then.
The only thing that strikes me as odd is that maven will take the
copy from trunk/openejb3 and place it in ~/.m2/repository then just
use it's copy. Maven can just as easily get it straight out of svn
via webdav, then I dont' have to have a leftover copy in my trunk/
openejb3 dir that will just sit there collecting dust and taking up
disk space.
Thoughts?

PS What does "NB" stand for?
Nota Bene (latin for note well)
