Hello All,
Do to my unfortunate travel schedule, I've only been able to keep up
with Mohammad but I do see the great progress we've made due to both of
their commitments. I have gone through the mailing list and Jira today to
look over Rick's involvement and I have no problem giving them both a +1.

Mohammad: +1
Rick: +1

Great work guys.

Take care,

Jeremy

Hello OpenEJBers,

We've had a couple people doing some great work who I think are "over
the hump" and have shown some great mailing list, jira, and coding
stills.

Rick McGuire has done some outstanding work on CORBA. CORBA is
Rick's baby now. He's always been a strong coder, but most recently
he's shown some great skills discussing his OpenEJB changes on the
openejb-dev list and using the OpenEJB Jira. It's very hard to
demonstrate collaborative development skills on something that few
people are interested in (CORBA), but Rick's done a great job with
that challenge by posting to the list and giving people the
opportunity to participate in the fun. I think he'd make an
excellent addition to the OpenEJB family.

My +1 for Rick!

Mohammad Nour El-Din has impressed me greatly. He started out super
excited (and still is) and absolutely determined to contribute. I've
seen a lot of people like that over the years never seem to reach the
point of getting that fist patch. Mohammad never gave up, stayed
positive and finally got over that hump. He's been a steady source
of contributions since then. He's contributed quite a bit on the
itests for EJB 3.0, which is something we need greatly. I'm sure
he'll continue to impress us with his growth and dedication and I
think we're lucky to have him in the OpenEJB family.

My +1 for Mohammad!

I think these two have each had their own challenges and overcome
them and continue to improve all the time. I've certainly made a
conscious effort to help them be better contributors. If you feel
they are not yet ready in some way, that is completely ok; these are
good guys and they'll listen to your feedback. If that's the case, I
encourage you to reach your hand out and help them over the hump,
cause that's the kind of family we are.

Very best regards,
David Blevins
