Whoops! My bad. That one should not have been added to jira :) That's what happens when you file JIRAs on an empty stomach....

Just double checked and the rest of the list is good. The only other one that's border line is

  [OPENEJB-94] SessionContext.getBusinessObject(interface)

This one is partially implemented, just we have no test cases for it and I've got a TODO in there saying it doesn't work, but I can't remember exactly what state it's in. Don't think it's ever been invoked.

As far as a good task to complete, this one would be great:

  [OPENEJB-383] ENC: persistence-unit-ref

We've got the code to parse the persistence.xml and create the EntityManagerFactory in the openejb-persistence package. We simply need to wire it into the JndiEncBuilder.

Hi David B,
I think I am missing something here. I just tried out
getting a datasource in EncStatelessBean.
DataSource ds = (DataSource)ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/datasource");
This is the default derby datasource.I am able to get it and use it
for executing sql statements. So what exactly is this JIRA
(OPENEJB-372) referring to? Please be patient with me if this question
is stupid and i am missing something obvious.

Thanks
Manu

Sorry my understanding was wrong on this. The spec says that a
resource-ref should be specific to the bean for which it has been
defined. So if I have two ejb's in the same jar then each should be
able to lookup different resources with the same name.

Thanks
Manu
