I've started some work on this.  I'm hoping to put the finishing touches on
it over the next few weeks.  If you're still curious as to how a security
service would fit in, there's some documentation on the site explaining how
things are pluggable in OpenEJB.

Make sure that you ask plenty of questions; I'm sure that others are curious
about this as well.
