Helping people on the user list is a great contribution.  Think you may have time to 
evaluate patches on occasion and encourage people to contribute?

Check out the "docs" target in our build.xml.   Basically we have a loose xml format 
for documents which is based on the old Apache document dtd.  For most of the docs we 
just run website.xsl on the xml files in src/doc/.  The file src/doc/project.xml 
contains information on how to build the top and left navigation bars.  The actuall 
page content comes from the various xml files in src/doc/.
