Hi All, New versions of qemu (v11 onwards) remove support for running qemu on 32 bit systems. You can still emulate 32 bit systems on 64 bit hosts but 32 bit host support is gone.
This means that it would be hard to run OE/YP builds on such systems since we rely on qemu for a chunk of different things. We've already been wondering about whether it was practical to build on 32 bit systems with less than 3GB memory and this is the point where we're going to decide that isn't. As a result we will: * Drop 32 bit uninative binaries going forward. * Drop 32 bit eSDKs * Drop qemu from 32 bit SDKs * Only test a more limited set of 32 bit SDKs * Only support running builds on 64 bit systems We think 32 bit usage is limited at this point and this shouldn't affect anyone too badly. Our hands are tied and qemu effectively makes this decision for us but let us know if you are impacted. Cheers, Richard
