Actually I see now that this issue isn't due to the kernel version bump, but to an lttng-tools version bump (2.13.4 -> 2.13.8) I verified that the ptest fails with 2.13.8 both pre and post kernel version bumps, and passes with 2.13.4 both pre and post kernel version bumps. So I've reverted the lttng-tools version bump until we can sort this out.
