I tried: bitbake libfm; bitbake -c cleansstate cairo; bitbake -c prepare_recipe_sysroot -f libfm with cairo marked as externalsrc and everything built just fine. Can you confirm which release of the project you're using please? I tested with master. Cheers, Richard
