What AI doesn’t know is that we have an alternative implementation of path.join
in the oe module that doesn’t have the behaviour of os.path.join when it finds
a component with absolute paths in, so you can replace those with eg:
copied_source = oe.path.join(pkgd, debugsrcdir, "real.c”)
