Hi Mathieu,

I investigated the [log_check] warning and reproduced the relevant
configuration locally using qemux86 with poky-altcfg and PAM/audit support.

The warning originates from the pan-plugin-warn package during do_rootfs. It
appears to be triggered by the PAM configuration and rootfs log checking rather
than by a systemd compilation failure.

The local core-image-full-cmdline build completed successfully (6,059 tasks),
and the warning was not reproduced in our local rootfs logs.

I also checked the upstream systemd changes. The existing patch for the
sysroot-to-libaudit include directory was dropped during the 262 to 262.1
upgrade, but the warning investigation appears separate from that patch.

At this point, I haven’t identified a systemd recipe change that would address
the warning. I will keep the warning investigation separate from the missing
patch and follow up if further evidence identifies a connection.

Best,

Hi,

Thanks for the upgrade.

It looks like we have some warning during the do_rootfs, but without
much detail:

WARNING: core-image-full-cmdline-1.0-r0 do_rootfs: [log_check]
core-image-full-cmdline: found 1 warning message in the logfile:
[log_check] warn.

https://autobuilder.yoctoproject.org/valkyrie/#/builders/20/builds/4830

This is only seen on qemux86 with altcfg distro. Can you have a look at
the issue?

Thanks,
Mathieu
