From: Martin Kelly <[email protected]> meta/conf/bitbake.conf puts python2.7 into the HOSTTOOLS variable but not python2, so only python2.7 is guaranteed. In addition, on some distros -- such as Amazon Linux -- /usr/bin/python2 doesn't exist but python2.7 does. So, use python2.7 for the --python= argument in the qemu configure step.
