It's still being used in default mirrors.bbclass:

and today I've noticed that it no longer resolves in DNS, probably
doesn't at least since Nov.
If we agree that it's not going back nor getting any updates since
2019, then we should remove it from mirrors.bbclass (to get those
do_fetch failures a bit faster).
I've asked halstead on #yocto about this:
