[Leonid] I did what you suggest and you are most right regarding size - after I was through compilation (and I needed to patch some matchbox packages to make them compile by uclibc toolchain) I was few hours older and wiser but got the image which was practically of the same size like gclibc's one - about 35M. I am trying to figure out how to prepare the "minimal" distro which has x-windows manager and web browser in it. I think it can be less then 16M, what do you think? I have asked on this list whether such "ready to go" distro does in fact exist, but looks like this is a kind of "holy spell" nobody wants to speak of :-) I can and probably will start cherry-picking packages myself though I would appreciate if I can get hold on any type of "recipe" or reference distro I can start from. Thanks, Leonid. _______________________________________________ Openembedded-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openembedded-users
