Hello Vitus,
thanks for the answer.
I did a really stupid beginners mistake :-(
In my startup-files I set LD_LIBRARY_PATH according to the
environment within our Company. For the OE-build I did a unset, but
while I worked on the system (using screen ...) it was set again ...
(probably while I was switching the screen ...). However ... at the
end of LD_LIBRARY_PATH there was a ':' - and so the working directory
was taken into account as well.
Now OE seems to build ...
Thanks, Regards
Daniel

Maybe one of you can help me out? Where does OpenEmbedded define the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH? Can an .bb-File change this setting? Or is the error
situated at an other point?
Have you tried to update your packages lately? I.e. mtn pull &&
mtn update?
When I try your setting it's building glibc-intermediate-2.6.1-r4,
without
errors.
Any .bb file may add LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the environment while
building but I
don't see this in packages/glibc.
My environment:
Gentoo-Linux 2008.0 on a Core2Duo
No LD_LIBRARY_PATH set by default.
Dito. But a slower machine :-( ;-)
Bye,
Vitus
