$ bitbake my-image -c rebuild -f
Bitbake populates the rootfs image with the kernel version 2.6.24, it
looks like bitbake ignores the preferred_version.
I sure I'm doing something wrong, can anybody help me?

The deploy dir is not yet covered by packaged staging. But I think RP
has a plan for this in the near future.
