2.6.25 is now default for Alix.
Am I likely to have any problems with a generic rootfs ?
You mean 'generic distro'. No idea - most tested OE distro is Angstrom
(DISTRO="angstrom-2008.1" in .dev)
Looking to eventually use with an alix2c3
MACHINE=alix in OE mean alix.1c but it should work also with other
alix
boards - they differ only in size and amount of (mini)PCI slots.
Tried that last night, and everything worked.....
I've tried a
bitbake bootstrap-image (is the the next step) still using the generic
distro, and got the following
