IIRC the issue was fixed by building a gcc.3.4.x native.

You should have uncommented  # ASSUME_PROVIDED += "qemu-native" in
your local.conf

My advice is: don't do it. Don't install gcc3 and/or qemu on you host.
Instead, let it be built by openembedded. Quemu pulls automatically
the needed gcc3.
