Hello,

Eclipse is just a tool for developping/debugging, but a good tool! With it you'll be able to:
 - place breakpoint
 - trace
 - step into, over,...
 - browse graph call,
 - check variables,
There's also a bazaar pluggin for checkout, branch, commit, push, pull your code.

By the way depending on the code you develop you may need to restart the server but Sometines just going to the administration menu in OERP and reloading may be enought...

However keep in mind that you should start the server by passing args within eclipse in the Run configuration option

It will solve a part of the problem because you can create "Run Configurations" to make easier the launch and stop of the the server.

Using Eclipse won't solve the problem, it's just a way to run the commands hey said. I think your are doing the right way. I don't know a faster way.
