Dear community,
I am glad to announce the availability of a set of modules providing
full text search functionality for OpenERP, to be found at
https://launchpad.net/openobject-fts
It works for 6.0, 6.1 and 7.0 currently.
Usage:
- Install the search module you are interested in (ie fts_document to
search in documents)
- Watch your logs. It will fill an index in the background. Look for the
line 'running _init_tsvector_column for [somename]'
- After that finishes (depending on the size of the table some minutes
to some hours), you can do your searches
