If everyone agrees to use your branch as the 6.1 series, we will follow.
Otherwise, we agree with your suggestions : use 6.1 branch from
openobject-addons and resubmit the backports through the community review.

We can create the series and branches very quickly. Carlos suggested to use the
Therp Backports branches as a starting point, but that may not be acceptable to
everyone. Alternatively, you can just use start out from vanilla
openobject-addons/6.1. If you are planning on joining the effort, you might
want to sound your opinion on this.
