@gustavo As Nhomar told you I think that the anouncement of Fabien on this thread about the new croudfunding project for pos and asking community to contribute on it is totally made on rigth place.
As Pedro said extra modules are made to complement/extend core funtionality but not to fork it. IMHO if there is extra functionality developed by now on extra modules that should be part of core is also the rigth place and moment to let openerp knowing about it building blueprints and linking the existant modules branches in order to propose to be included as part of new pos vers if they are generic enough. About contributing economically to fundrising I thing a lot of small (even very small) contributions make a big one so as much contributions made improved pos will be reallity faster. Please think about it.
