At camptocamp we are setting up a
buildbot, using Anybox buildout recipe for this (thanks Georges
for publishing it)
The pro: * buildbot is a well documented, mature project * it is easy to add build slaves (including developer work stations) to scale the testing * the setup proposed by Anybox reuses their buildout recipe for deploying OpenERP which makes it easy to have several addon repositories / branches in a given setup * it is easy to setup different settings / branches / database backends / sets of modules to be tested * the recipe supports polling on branches to run a new build when new changes are available Weaknesses found so far: the recipe is lacking a bit in the initial setup documentation, and testing all available modules is not easy (yet). But we are working on it. https://launchpad.net/anybox.buildbot.openerp It is a great project, and I encourage people to use it and contribute to it. Discussions about it are welcome on this list (until the traffic completely overwhelms the other discussions... it will then be time to set up a dedicated mailing list).
