Popups disappear behind main window

Bug description:
Popups tend to disappear behind the main window after a minimize/restore.
After that, the main window is useless, waiting for user input, and cannot be
closed.
The only (unclean) way to get out of this is to kill the process using the Task
Manager ... :-(
Popups should ALWAYS be in front of other windows!
