Hello Gobi,
The thing is that you are missing here the configuration of your user language.
Go to Administration/Translations/Languages and select open the language for
which you need to need the thousand grouping. Then enter a valid value in the
field "Separator Format" eg:[3, 3, 3, -1] if you want 100,000,000.00.
I would convert this Bug to a Question as its a configuration issue.

Bug description:
Some big numbers are really hard to read or type in.
For example: 100000000.00
It would be better if in currency format and grouped in thousands like
100,000,000.00
