Thanks Naresh, just tested rebuilding the *.mo files and it works :) As a note: I had not installed the client via setup.py; I was using the bzr branch as it is.

The attached picture shows an example where "Close current tip" and "Disable all tips" buttons, and their tooltips, remain untranslated while the rest of the UI is (correctly) displayed in Spanish.
