I'm closing the "addons" part of this bug as it is in fact a duplicate of bug
777640, which more specifically describes the issue.
I can't mark the current bug as duplicate because it's a global flag and that
would hide also the GTK fix that was a different issue.
(hope this explanation is clear: basically we need different bugs to describe
different issues)

Almost impossible to post manual entries in Accounting / Journal entries /
Journal entries.
In the header the journal and period a requested but when starting to post a
manual entry it is requested again
