Please revert the change, The problem is not taken from the right side. Here you define a default value to res.partner.address and not to res.partner.

New customer record come with addresses and default address type=default [selected], after that when I going to save the record. new customer is created without any address. Similar thing working well with web client. Steps: 1> Create new customer 2> Go at address type : right click "set as default", set for all user -> ok 3> Again try to create new customer record, you see address type = default selected. 4> Then fill the require fields, and save the record. 5> new record created without address.
