Hello, After discussion with fp and al, it was decided to keep the 'needaction' name. It is not the sexiest name ever, but user attention does drop the 'action' meaning of the mechanism. The purpose of the mechanism is to specify whether an action is required, as an OpenERP action (can be generally related to an action or workflow button). After a review of the various flows, we will never use this system with something else than a real action; user attention is more vague.
I will get back to the old name, but keep the other modifications. I'll push on this branch.
