Please have a look if this bug is still considered incomplete, regarding
that Paulius provided a good analysis and a working patch
(fix_merge_789074.diff).

I think this precise problem with purchase order merging should be fixed asap,
with the patch.
We will request backporting to 6.0 on our maintenance contract anyway, so you
could already set it in motion here :)

Then there can/should be a second bug for handling missing _columns={}
on the GTK client, or base development team for osv memory, or
whereever.

Title:
[6.0] Purchase Orders can't be merged: Invalid form, correct red
  fields

Status in OpenERP GTK Client:
  Incomplete
Status in OpenERP Server:
  Invalid

Bug description:
We tried to merge three purchase orders, and got the error message: Invalid
form, correct red fields.
The purchase orders themselves are ok, and there is no form to enter values
for the wizard.

  See attached video.

As requested by the Merge wizard:
The orders are all in draft.
The orders all belong to the same supplier.
They have the same stock location and pricelist.

The Lines only differ in product, quantity and unit. (they even don't
  differ in unit)
