Review: Needs Fixing This functionality is essential (without it, some data have been truncated silently for years).
But the patch does not work with _inherits field: self._columns[key] will raise a KeyError. It also (hopefully) reveals things to be fixed: - res.currency symbol (now size=3, should be at least 4). Could you fix this and merge in stable?
