can you explain me the reason of res_company.py's existence? I don't see where the fields defined there are used: is it only for informative purposes? I'm asking because i fear that the field 'vat_mode' will confuse the users. We recently remove/hide an option on the vat report that was supposed to compute figures based on invoices or cash receipt because, on the advice of accounting experts, that was wrong as the accounting entries are still the same (but users that think openerp can compte vat on cash receipt are expecting them to be different)... Anyway, i just raise the question. If you think it's ok then it's fine for me too. (except that the res_company.py file doesn't have a copyright :D) Otherwise, it seems ok. Nothing harmfull. I can merge it as soon as you reply to me above comment.
