The proposal to merge lp:~openerp-dev/openobject-server/trunk-openchatter-3-5-user-partner-tde into lp:openobject-server has been updated.
Description changed to: OpenChatter3.5 'I am not dead! - Ere, he says he's not dead. - Yes he is. - I'm not.': res.users inherits'ing from res.partner part of the task. Refactoring of res.users model: it now inherits (and I do insist on the 's', because it's kewl) from res.partner. Both models have been updated accordingly. Duplicate fields from res.users removed; among other : - context_lang -> lang, on the partner - context_tz -> tz, on the partner - user_email -> email, on the partner Some compatibility fields have been added, with the deprecated attribute to help the update. Other files have been modified to handle the new models. The res_users fields_view_get has been overridden to use the fields_view_get of the related partner, when the view_id is not defined. This means that when the view is not specified (aka, users in settings), the user is redirected to the partner view. For that purpose, wrappers on onchange methods have been defined.
