I hit the same bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1099359 (Unfortunately I did not find the duplicate 'Project - Problem with adding custom field') Searched the 'why' and proposed a merge https://code.launchpad.net/~c2c/openobject-server/7.0-assert_rec_name-1099359/+merge/143078 Then, I saw this merge proposal, which has the exact same fix than mine. So I confirm that it is a valid fix. I'm a bit sad to have lost hours on this while the fix was done since the beginning of December. But there should be a reason. So at least, I confirm now that this patch is correct.
