Here come 2 scenarios:
1. Action could be an another window(we call it act_window which is a link to
current object like Invoices of current partner). This opens in a new window
,is quite fair.
2. Action could be a wizard, this should be a pop-up. Currently, it opens a
blank new window and a pop-up both, which sounds an un-userfriendly behavior
and this is where the scope of improvements resides.

Bug description:
client web Rev 3839 server Rev 2995 addons Rev 3903
When clicking any link on the right sidebar (extended view) a new window opens
(neither a popup nor an alertbox) loosing its relation to the main window an
showing only the requested content without the framing. From my point of view
either a popup or a new frame should be opened.
