* Did the customer provide the patch himself? in the email above, or was the
patch re-done from scratch?
* If the patch was the customer's, he should be credited (by using —author)
* The "{0,1}" RE pattern can (and should) be replaced with "?".
* Shouldn't we add support for a positive prefix just in case?
