I agree that the precision must be the same in invoices and orders. 
If I understand, you propose to "push" the order's precision to the invoices 
and accounting entries.
Isn't it simpler to just set the order lines' precision to that of the 
accounting?

Bug description:
  Starting from v6.0 up to the current trunk, the precision for the subtotals 
in sale order lines and purchase order lines is set to have respectively the 
same precision as the sale prices and the purchase prices.
  Unfortunately this does not fit the way they are computed : when taxes are 
taken into account, the subtotals are computed with the precision of the 
accounting.
  So the precision of those fields should be that of the accounting.
