this module's functionality looks very sophisticated indeed but I am not
in need a practical solution as I have already patched our customer's
webclient with the five line patch attached to the bug report.
Instead, I would like to hear if the experts agree that adding this
behaviour to the core adds to a more consistent behaviour of OpenERP.
The developers do not agree, as the patch was rejected. Therefore, I
would like to see if there is support from your side to ask them to
reconsider.
