I have checked this issue with latest trunk but
I did not face any problem with deadline filter
so would you please provide more information
regarding this issue.
I have attached a video for your reference.

project taks - wrong helptext - "deadlines" does not filter null

trunk
as the buttons are "ORed"
clicking "Deadlines" and any other button will not "only show tasks with
deadlines" (help text), but task which fullfill any condition.
the filter does not work/exclude tasks with NO deadline
