I have tried this same scenario with trunk(6.1) as well as stable 6.0.3
on unbuntu and both are working fine.
So would you please check it again.

Custom filter - not applied

Bug description:
In a report, I click on several grouping buttons and then I save my
custom filter.
I clear all the filters and I try to reload my filter.
--> Nothing change. My filter is not applied.
