Hi Claire, Well, there is no progress (at our side at least) because we are not working on this issue. And we don't plan to work on it actually. The reason is because we consider this as a missing feature rather than a bug. :-s
Maybe in a further version... but still it's not planned in our roadmap for the next version so if you think it's really important, you should launch a poll on feedback.openerp.com.
