I was able to add the missing menu, but then the actual import of aa module failed. That might be a reason why the menu is missing??
To add the menu, follow: Customizations / User interface / Menu items Do a "Create" Call it "Import Module" Prent will be "Modules" Action will be iraction.act_windows / (search) "Module Import" That's it, Save and reload the UI Mine is Kubuntu Precise (12.04) and I have the deb package of 6.1 installed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenERP Indian Team, which is subscribed to OpenERP Server. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/975044 Title: Menu item "Import Module" is missing 6.1 Status in OpenERP Server: Confirmed Bug description: The menu item "Import Module" under Settings > Modules is missing.
