Fekete, You caught the right point and this is what supposed to be the fix.
Normally, you need not to pass journal_id to bank statement line because relevant statement will fetch it when the record gets read. So, this bug should be fixed by correcting demo.xml plus the line 625 of point_of_sale.py. Additionally, I observed that the demo data itself confuses more. Look at the journal specified in bank statement : account_bank_statement_0 : its sales journal (wrong). And the journal_id is said to be related but the journal set for statement line is cash journal (not 100% right)! Hope this sheds some light on the fix.
