mass mail sets model and res_id
select id,model,res_id,partner_id from mail_message order by id desc limit 1;

but in
./mail/res_partner.py
class res_partner(osv.osv):
""" Inherits partner and adds CRM information in the partner form """
_inherit = 'res.partner'
_columns = {
'emails': fields.one2many('mail.message', 'partner_id', 'Emails',
readonly=True, domain=[('email_from','!=',False)]),
}
hence the mass mail messages are not displayed in partner history
