Hi,
I just installed OpenERP v6.1.
I'd setup the parent and child company.
For example : parent Company : A Company
child company : Branch A ( which have 1 cash
register with 2 users)
Branch B ( which
have 1 cash register with 2 users)
I'd setup the allowed company for the user according to their Branch.
The problem is when the user login into POS , error came out and cannot
do sales on POS.
Not sure whether it's a bug or my setting is not correct.
Can anyone share this if you have this kind of problem.

demo database
assigen multicompany to admin
create a new user
try to assign shop 1 to the new user
error
Error occurred while validating the field(s) company_id,company_ids: The
chosen company is not in the allowed companies for this user
it works only if "OpenERP S.A." is also assigned - which does not make sens
for me.
we must be able to assign users to child companies only.
