You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Install, Following modules: Membership and Sale (I tried with only this
two and also with a full instalation on runbot),
1.- Got to Association>Members: Create a New one or Chose an existing
2.- Membership Tab > Uncheck free Member (if it is) > Click Buy Membership>
Fill the data on the wizzard>Click Invoice Membership
3.- At this point you are on the invoice tree for the membership specified on
the wizzard, Open the form view and click Validate> Click Pay then you will get
the following error:

and in the output of the log says something like this:
TypeError: browse_record(res.partner, 5) is not JSON serializable
