Update Module List popup wizard close unexpectedly after update

Symptom:
========
Normally when we click Update Module List wizard, it will show us also the
result of update, i.e., how many new module.
But now, once update, it will close the Wizard dialog immediately.
This kind of behavior (wizard to close immediately once process
something) is intentional on the newer version. This do have adverse
effect to some other module.
For example, for extra addons, "jasper_report", once installed, there is an
option Setting / Technical / Jasper Report / "Create Data Template".
Normally, in Create Data Template dialog, once "Create" button is clicked, it
will show the link to created file for user to download it. Now, it just close
the dialog without chance to download !!
